Loved the breakfast variety! It included greens and was perfect for fueling up before exploring. But the bathroom was a letdown with a clogged toilet and slow drainage 😕

Our family room was neat and airy with exceptionally comfortable beds. The breakfast was excellent with a good choice of food and cool drinks. The location was good, just 5 minutes walk from Natural History Museum Berlin.

Hotel integrated in an old building - cosy. We arrived during the week and got a very good price.
a bit angled, breakfast room very narrow, quality of breakfast low.

The access to the metro made getting to places like the Berlin Wall and Brandenburg Gate super easy. We appreciated the comfortable beds and good Wi-Fi for planning our outings.
We faced a frustrating situation when our key cards to the room wouldn't work, which caused a lot of hassle for us late at night.

It was very clean and finally offered everything you need for one night.
The breakfast was not really a pleasure.

The location is fantastic, with easy access to public transport and nearby restaurants. The breakfast lacked variety.

The room was basic but clean with a single bed and ensuite bathroom with shower. Soap was also provided and the room was big enough not to feel restricted for space. The location is perfect as it is right next to the Naturkunde museum and one can actually walk to friederichstrasse and the Jewish quarter in 10 minutes. It's also very conveniently located to get to from Tegel.
The room was on the 5th floor but the windows were so high up that I could not enjoy the view. Also the room was always really hot ( there was an electric fan for this reason I'd imagine). Breakfast was quite basic too and wasn't not included but costs €7.5, which I thought it was not value for money. They made the bed daily but didn't change the towels or hoover the room.

The breakfast was ok, but the room was too small.

Let me break it down for you
A solid choice for budget travelers. Located near main transport hubs. Rooms are clean and soundproof, perfect for working remotely. Breakfast is decent, though could use more variety. Be ready for a hot night without AC. Still, at this price, it's hard to find better.

We were in a double room with open windows and bathroom plus a terrace.

The location was superb and our room was clean and spacious. The terrace outside was a real gem for sipping coffee while soaking in the sun. The communal fridge with drinks was a nice surprise, quite like being at a friend's place!
The noise from outside was like a free city symphony-charming at first, but not exactly for a restful night. And let's not even start on the mattress. I think it's taken a few too many trips around the sun!

There are several local transportation stops nearby, including the main train station. Internet connection was free, fast and consistent. A staff member is on site 24/7. There are grocery store options around the corner (although no refrigerator in the room).
The room could use a desk lamp. The bathroom could use more shelf space. The neighborhood is not very picturesque and doesn't offer much in the way of restaurants, shopping or nightlife within walking distance. This is more a hotel to drop your stuff and sleep at night.

It's a nice hotel, close to the central train/bus/underground station and with reasonable rooms and facilities. For the price we paid (560 eur for 8 nights) it was nice, but... (Read the downsides)
Very Important: We had a double (comfort) room, for two people - but there was only one Key, which wasn't convenient. You can't lock the door if the other person is outside, and you have to leave the key at the reception (5th floor, not on the way to/from the rooms) when you go out. Also note that even though they might tell you otherwise (I called and asked), there are no phones in any of the rooms.
